LEH, INDIA
This image was taken on a crappy point and shoot before I knew anything about photography in early 2005. I was in Leh, India in the Himalayas about to start on our trek to some remote Tibetan Buddhist villages and we took a hike up to the Leh Palace to see the area. Pretty incredible stuff considering this photo was taken at about 12,000 ft above sea level. and the mountians in the distance aren’t even the taller ones in the area and they’re rocking around 20,000 ft. Crazy stuff. I miss India.

This is uh, pretty spectacular for a point and shoot! But then, that’s not surprising coming from you!! :-) Never been, but sure would love to go someday.
Whoa! That’s stunning!
