JOHN+JENNIFER // TACOMA, WA

John and Jenn met me in Tacoma on a rainy, spring day a couple of weeks ago for their engagement session. As I was processing their session, I really was loving the classic look that my black and white conversions were giving me and thought I’d simply share some of my favorite black and white frames with you.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

JOSH+MEG // GIG HARBOR, WA

Yesterday was phenomenal. The sun was out and Josh and Meghan totally made the best of it. I traveled out to their stomping ground in Gig Harbor and the scene was nothing short of beautiful. They took me around town and we ended up on an amazing beach. The smell of the ocean, bonfires. Oh man. It felt like summer. Here are some of the photos from out little adventure, climbing over fences and exploring the beach. I’m stoked for their wedding this fall.jm-044blogjm-048blogjm-083blogjm-120blogjm-109blogjm-130blogjm-179blogjm-191blogjm-194blogjm-265blogjm-271blogjm-283blogjm-315blogjm-342blog

EVAN+ALI // PUYALLUP, WA

Wednesday morning I met up with Evan and Ali at 9am for an morning engagement session. Ali was a little concerned because we had both hoped for a nice sunny day, but I assured them that we could totally work with the conditions without any problem. Totally true! I followed the happy couple out into a “secret location” that Ali had scouted out a few weeks ago. Ali really wanted something unique and she totally got that! Its always fun to see clients get involved in the process by giving input and having something in mind for our shoot! They picked a great location and were super fun to work with. Happy viewing!

A lot of times it seems like everything is about the bride-to-be, so I wanted to make sure Evan had a photo that made him look pretty epic.

I call this the Abercrombie Ad.
