Due to the overwhelming response again this year from my Senior Portrait business, I’ve decided to step it up even more for 2011 and start a Senior Rep Program!

I’ve been getting a lot of questions from 2009 seniors lately and thought I’d take the time to answer as many of them as possible now so we can eliminate confusion :]
Cost: $350
What do I get? A couple hours of shooting, as many outfit changes as you want, high res cd, 3 months of online viewing
How soon do I need to book? You’ll want to book at least 6 weeks before you want to shoot to make sure I’m available. Although, you might get lucky and I could be available the same day you contact me!
How long does it take from the time that we shoot to see my images? About a week.
If I make a print order, how long does it take to get them in? About 2 weeks.
How soon will I get my digital negatives? About 2 weeks after we shoot.
What do I wear? Wear what you like! Bring something that your mom won’t mind sending to the Grandparents but keep in mind, this is YOUR shoot! Have fun and wear something you enjoy and feel good in.
What else do I bring? Bring things the represent you and your personality. A football, sunglasses, snowboard, skateboard, purse, handbag, camera, your car, anything that you’d like!
When do I pay? You pay 1/2 when you book and 1/2 when we shoot. The full amount must be paid before we begin shooting.
What time do we start shooting? Usually around 3:00.
How long will it last? I use 2 hours as a rough estimate. Some sessions last longer, some are much quicker. But if you’re going through 12 outfits in 6 locations I might have to call it quits early :]
Where will we meet/shoot? Where ever you’d like. I shoot a lot in Puyallup and Tacoma so I know some great spots there but I’m open to explore as well!
How many outfits can I wear? You can wear as many outfits you’d like within reason. Most seniors wear anywhere from 3-5 outfits per shoot so bring a few!
My school requires a yearbook photo. Can you do that? For the most part I can make that happen as well. You’ll need to submit your school’s specific requirements for us to determine if this is possible. If we can, we’ll definitely make time for your yearbook shot! Senior shoots are currently outdoors and usually done without studio lighting school requires an indoor/studio shoot you’ll have to get that specific shot done at the school.
Can I bring my mom or friend? Absolutely. I actually encourage you to bring along someone that will make you feel comfortable and fun! A lot of seniors haven’t spent time in front of a camera by themselves and a friend can really help you open up in a lot of cases. Parents can be ok, but I find that seniors are a lot more relaxed without them there so I usually ask them to offer their suggestions and concerns beforehand and we’ll make sure to get the shots they want as well.
